Elmir Nizamov is a known author of a variety of chamber, instrumental, symphonic and choral works, songs as well as the musical pieces for theatrical performance and motion picture. Among his major compositions it's necessary to point out the following: Altyn Kazan (Golden Kazan) musical (2011) and the opera-legend Kara Pulat (Black Chamber). Elmir Nizamov is a member of the Russian Composers Council, resident of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Tatarstan Republic and senior professor at the composition department in the Kazan State Conservatory n.a. N. Zhiganov. Elmir Nizamov became a 2015 winner of the Musa Dzhalil award for the creation of Altyn Kazan (Golden Kazan) musical and a considerable contribution to the development of the musical art of Tatarstan Republic.
